On April 14-15, Datacenter Dynamics will host its annual Building the Edge event, which focuses on edge infrastructure innovation and deployment. LF Edge will be represented by Jacob Smith, State of the Edge Co-Chair and VP of Bare Metal Strategy at Equinix and Cole Crawford, LF Edge Governing Board member and Founder and CEO of Vapor IO.
On April 15 at 10-11 am, Cole will participate in a panel discussion titled, “Fireside chat: What stage have we reached in the evolution of edge? A quick reality check with George Rockett, DCD, and Kaniz Mahdi, VMware.
On April 15 at 3-4 pm, Jacob will participate in a panel discussion titled, “Panel: Defining the standard and pushing the boundaries,” with Tom Mayz, NodeWeaver; Alfonso Carrillo, OpenNebula; Mike Moore, Open Compute Project; and Mark Thiele, Edgevana.
