Doug Larson is a developer and performance analyst in the IBM Cloud division, where he focuses on performance optimization for the logging and monitoring services supporting IBM Cloud (formerly Bluemix). Throughout his career, Doug has held team leadership roles across both development and performance engineering teams. His experience encompasses the end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of cloud solutions.

Erik is a member of the LF Edge Technical Advisory Committe, a member of the Internet Architecture Board, and the Chief Architect at ZEDEDA. He has designed and implemented substantial parts of the EVE implementation in LF Edge. He is an expert on architecting and implementing secure large scale software systems, with a deep understanding of the implications of the Internet on system design. Prior to joining ZEDEDA he was developing software at Arista Networks, architecting the evolution of core software as a Cisco Distinguished Engineer, and earlier had a long and varied career as a Distinguished Engineer at Sun Microsystems. Erik has been involved in standardization in the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) since the very early days of IPv6 and continues to drive IoT-related issues in the IETF and IAB. Erik holds over 29 US parents, and has a Technical Licentiate degree from Uppsala University and a MS from Stanford University.

James is a technical product manager with extensive experience across technical account management, solution architecture, product marketing, and software engineering.

He currently oversees the product management and market positioning for IOTech’s Edge Central computing platform. In this role, he collaborates with customers, partners, and key stakeholders to translate complex requirements into actionable engineering roadmaps and product releases aligned with industrial edge and IoT use cases.

James also serves as Chairman of EdgeX Foundry, an open-source edge software framework within the LF Edge ecosystem. Through this position, he guides the framework’s community of developers, users, and industrial adopters to foster adoption and support global deployments.

His background is grounded in architecting embedded and real-time distributed software systems. Throughout his career, he has designed systems for international organizations across sectors including industrial automation, energy, military/aerospace, robotics, and transportation.

Renê de Souza Pinto is a specialist in embedded systems and operating systems with a strong background rooted in open-source development. Over the course of his career, he has applied his technical expertise across a range of industries, including automotive, medical, and oil and gas.

Currently, Renê serves as Team Lead at ZEDEDA and as a maintainer for EVE-OS within the Linux Foundation’s LF Edge initiative. In this role, he helps drive edge computing architecture while leading software engineering teams through complex development challenges.

Robert Raesemann has specialized in industrial data systems since 1996, working extensively with the OSIsoft/AVEVA PI System to bridge the gap between IT and OT environments. As a full-stack PI specialist, his expertise spans industrial protocol integration, enterprise system architecture, and custom application development using AF SDK and PI Web API. Over his career, he has designed complex, scalable Asset Framework models, leveraging taxonomies and semantic frameworks to improve data accessibility and usability across organizations. He is frequently brought in when traditional historian architectures reach their limits and require next-generation scaling or design.

Robert serves as Co-Chair of the LF Edge Fledge project, advocating for open-source edge solutions—such as Dianomic FogLAMP—to give OT teams greater flexibility. His focus remains on transforming raw instrumentation data into enterprise-grade assets that power business intelligence, machine learning, and AI initiatives.

As a co-founder at IndyIQ.ai, Robert collaborates with partners to build modern industrial data infrastructures using edge-to-cloud technologies.

Extensive programme management experience in delivering Workday HR and Financials projects for large enterprise and mid-market customers. Proven track record of selling and delivering Workday professional service since year 2015 when he was Workday project manager certified. Highly experienced in dealing with complex programme governance structure. He was facing off to a customer programme management team (10 people) that includes 1 director & 4 senior managers for an ERP programme.

Joe is an Edge Computing and Technology Strategist at IBM.

Keesang Song is located in the Bay Area, working at AMD Santa Clara HQ, leading Telco Ecosystem SW Engineering projects for Enabling and Optimization.

Haruhisa Fukano is an architect and business planner for edge computing at 1Finity. He leads the PoC project to develop the edge computing market. He also contributes to the ecosystem and open community for the spread and evolution of edge computing. He currently serves on the
Technical Steering Committee for Akraino, one of the LF Edge projects. At Akraino, he leads the CPS robot blueprint family to solve the challenges that current robots face in several industries (E.g Food factories, agriculture.) by Cyber Physical System.

With an eye towards solving future problems that are hidden in the implications of today’s investments, Brad leads a strategic architecture team in Intel’s Retail, Banking, Hospitality and Education Division. In particular Brad and the team focus on edge compute use cases, emerging technologies and the new experiences defining the next generation of customer interactions.

Brad also chairs the Vertical Solutions Working Group within EdgeX Foundry, an IOT middleware platform, in order to improve market adoption with particular verticals.

Over 22 years at Intel Brad has engineering software for manufacturing, print imaging, consumer electronics and retail security applications. He has spent the last ten years in retail markets, working with vendors, venture capital backed startups, and internal collaborators. Brad has 14 patents in these areas.
