Stop Crawling and Start Walking: Transitioning from Continuous Integration to Continuous Delivery
At the beginning of 2019 my team and I joined and started contributing to an open source community, EdgeX Foundry. When we joined the community, we were happy to see that there was a Jenkins instance with jobs for continuous integration. In this talk we will talk about the culture and technology transitions we made to move the community forward to always being ready to release. In this talk we will outline the strategy used to upgrade the overall release flow and how we moved the project from Jenkins freestyle jobs to multibranch pipeline jobs.
